資本主義の波を、どう生きるか。

Statement
波は、こちらの都合を聞かない。
上がるか、下がるか。
買うか、買われるか。
世界はいつからか、ふたつの札しか配らなくなった。
この作品は、その二択を説明するために描かれていない。
二択の前に立たされた人間の、呼吸のほうを描いている。
生きているとは、動いていることだろうか。
それとも、まだ問い続けていることだろうか。
答えは、用意していない。
波は、今日も来る。
覆面の下で、眼だけが開いている。読み取れないまま、目覚めている。孤独は沈黙ではなく、ひとつの言語だ。
The wave does not ask whether it is convenient. Up or down. Buying, or being bought. At some point the world stopped dealing anything but those two cards.
This work does not explain the choice. It draws the breathing of the person standing in front of it.
Is being alive a matter of moving — or of still asking?
